On November 13, we joined NYC Comptroller Brad Lander’s Diwali celebration in Richmond Hill, where our Executive Director, Annetta Seecharran, was recognized for her commitment to NYC’s South Asian and Indo-Caribbean communities. The evening brought together leaders and organizations dedicated to building a stronger, more supportive city.
It was a night of light, culture, and recognition for those working to ensure housing stability, economic security, and justice across NYC. Thank you to Comptroller Lander for honoring this work and for bringing our community together to celebrate Diwali.
