Chhaya is proud to offer free tax preparation services to community members earning under $68,000 with dependents, and under $48,000 without dependents.

Required documents for tax preparation:

All 2020 tax forms (W-2, 1099, 1098-E, etc.)
If you claimed unemployment benefits please have your 1099-G form. You can find it by visiting dol.ny.gov, logging into your account and searching for “1099-G”
Photo IDs (including spouse and dependents)
Social security and ITIN cards (including spouse and dependents)
Direct Deposit information (account and routing number)
List of expenses if you are self-employed
