Sriram is a finance and management professional and currently works as a finance executive with JPMorgan Chase’s Consumer and Community Banking division. Sriram’s expertise is in financial management, business strategy and execution and has held related roles in his career with JPMorgan Chase and Citigroup.
Sriram moved from India in 2000 to attend the MBA program at Yale University’s School of Management and graduated with majors in Finance and Strategy. During his time at Yale, Sriram participated the school’s entrepreneurship activities including contributions to YES (Yale Entrepreneurial Society) and being a Team Lead for Sachem Ventures, a Yale student-run venture capital fund with a focus on investments in local ventures in the New Haven community.
He moved to Long Island in 2006 and since then has been involved in youth focused community organizations in Nassau and Suffolk counties, including his current involvement with YICG (Young Indian Culture Group), a 501C3 registered organization based in Nassau.
Sriram’s interest in Chhaya stems from his desire to give back and be of service to the immigrant community in general and the South Asian community specifically. He appreciates the challenges immigrants can face to assimilate into the community and grow while taking care of their families, and feels privileged to serve the community as a member of Chhaya.
