Volunteer to Support the Immigrant Vote

Do you want to impact the next election by helping your community? Chhaya CDC is looking for well-organized and energetic volunteers for its innovative voter engagement work to increase turnout in neighborhoods, with a focus on underrepresented immigrant communities. The position’s primary function is to conduct outreach in Jackson Heights, Elmhurst, Woodside, Astoria, Richmond Hill, Jamaica, Hollis and Queens Village through in-person door knocking and phone banking.

This is a great opportunity for volunteers to participate in non-partisan voter engagement work for the upcoming elections this fall. You will also build community leadership skills while interacting with local immigrant communities. If you have any questions please call, Rasel Rahman at 718-478-3848 or email rasel@chhayacdc.org.
