Chhaya — along with countless organizations, volunteers, and celebrities from around the country — will “hit the streets” on September 22, 2015, for National Voter Registration Day. This single day of coordinated ﬁeld, technology and media efforts will create national awareness of voter registration opportunities and is expected to reach tens of thousands of voters.
The 5th annual Chatpati Mela took place on Saturday, August 22nd, 2015 from 2PM–8PM at Play Street/Pedestrian Plaza.
The event attracted over 3,000 people and featured cultural performances, neighborhood leadership awards, South Asian snacks, Henna tattoo artists, paani puri eating contest, art activities for kids, open mic, raffle, and much more!
